Air Jordan 1 High “Knicks”

The Air Jordan 1 has seen a whole slew of colorways, editions, versions, etc. There have been many NBA team-inspired colorways, now Jordan Brand hit us again with the “Knicks” colorway. However, it’s not only the colorway that is stirring the sneakerhead community pot, but the ‘Nike Air’ logo on the tongue. Just that logo alone can be a determining factor in whether to cop or not for some.

As far as aesthetics are concerned, the Air Jordan 1 “Knicks” are outstanding. The upper flaunts ‘game royal’ blue and ‘team’ orange leather. The Nike swoosh is orange, contrasting with the blue ‘Air Jordan Wings’ logo. The inner lining is black, with an orange insole. The midsole is white, while the outsole is also ‘team’ orange.

Another fact to note about the Air Jordan 1 “Knicks” is the absence of the Jumpman on the heel. Most of the retro 1 kicks have the Jumpman on the heel; thus making the AJ 1 “Knicks” a true OG sneaker.

These are a definite must cop for Air Jordan 1 lovers. The classic shape of the Air Jordan 1 can never be deferred. Paired with the “Knicks” colorway in OG fashion, these kicks are just too fresh to pass up. However, they dropped at the beginning of the year on January 5th for $140. If you’re feeling them, you just might be able to come up on a pair.
