Air Jordan 1 “Joker”
Jordan Brand celebrated the 2013 All-Star Game by dropping a number of Air Jordan sneakers for the 2013 All-Star Footwear Collection pack in never-before-released colorways. The collection is inspired by stealth and night-vision colors and consists of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3, Air Jordan 28, Jordan Melo M9 and CP3.VI. The sneakers have been dubbed “Joker” because of the resembling colors of the popular villain.
One of the highlights among the new pack is the Air Jordan 1 “Joker”. One of the special features Jordan Brand used for this Air Jordan 1 sneaker is the use of UV ink on parts of the shoes. When black-light hit these shoes, the electric green colors will give a glowing appearance.
As far as the iconic silhouette of the Air Jordan 1 goes, it remains a favorite. Not just for anyone, but celebrities too as Rihanna has been spotted several times in these Air Jordan 1 “Joker” kicks. The dark black and purple colorway with details of fresh tints of bright electric green won’t leave you get unnoticed.
The Air Jordan 1 “Joker” features a leather upper in black and purple. The midsole is white to give these sneakers a nice contrast overall. The outsole, laces and Jordan branding on the back and on the tongue are electric green giving the special glow in black-light.
These Air Jordan kicks may not be everyone’s kind of taste, especially if you’re a lover of the OG color schemes, but for the price these kicks are too fresh too pass. They can still be found on the web at some retailers for retail price.
