Air Jordan 1 Retro ‘93 “Bugs Bunny” April 2013

Two weeks prior to the release of the Air Jordan 8 “Bugs”, Jordan Brand releases the Air Jordan 1 Retro ’93 “Bugs”. They used the aesthetics of the Air Jordan 8 and threw it on the classic Air Jordan 1.

The hybrid features the style and the classic colorway of the Air Jordan 8, but the outline of the Air Jordan 1. There are some nice elements, like the grey suede padding around the heel and the perforated texture used on the toe box and upper part of the sneaker.

Along the black and white contrast of the black midsole and white outsole, as do the inner-lining pattern of the Air Jordan 8 they used the same iconic tongue design.

What are your thoughts on the Air Jordan 1 “Bugs”? Should Jordan Brand release more of these or should they leave the classics alone?

The Air Jordan 1 Retro ‘93 “Bugs” will be released on the 6th of April 2013 and will be available at selected Jordan Brand retailers for $120 USD.

I own a pair of AIr Jordan Bugs. I love them so much that I barely wear them.
