Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game”
One of the most anticipated releases of this past year was the return of the Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game”. The sneaker got its nickname thanks to Spike Lee’s film “He Got Game” where the sneakers were worn by Denzel Washington’s character in the film. The Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” was last seen in 2008 as part of the Jordan Countdown Pack together with the Air Jordan 10 “Shadow”, but this year they were back on the shelves once more solo.
The Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” sports a minimalistic black and white upper made of leather and suede. The signature features of the Air Jordan 13 are present as well with the dimpled sides and the holographic logo on the backside of the heels. The midsole contains alternating black suede and leather. The red details have been added which can be found on the Jumpman logo on the tongue as well as the outline of the outsole, finished off with a classic Jumpman logo on the bottom.
Michael Jordan himself wore these sneakers back in the day. The Air Jordan 13 “He Got Game” is one of the best Air Jordan 13 colorways that came out among the recently released “Bred” and “Squadron Blue”. Among celebrities these sneakers are a favourite as well, as a number of celebrities have been spotted wearing the sneakers, including Lil Wayne, Chris Brown and Rihanna. The classic black and white colorway just goes easy with any outfit.
The Air Jordan 13 Retro “He Got Game” White/True Red – Black, was released on March 16th of this year and retailed at $170 USD. If you missed out on them, they can still be picked up from eBay.
