New Nike Air Huarache White Pure Platinum Sneaker Release for Summer 2014
Still looking for the perfect summer shoes? The classic Nike Air Huarache makes a return today in an all-white colorway. The shoes were originally released in 1991 and were designed by Tinker Hatfield. This could be Nike’s summer sneaker of the year.
The Nike Air Huarache White ‘Pure Platinum’ edition features an all-white upper, including all details and sole. There’s no other color to be found and that’s what makes these shoes simply perfect and clean.
The silhouette features a phylon midsole which contains two Nike Air units, one at the back and one at the front of the sole. There is no Nike swoosh, but minimal branding at the back of the heel and on the tongue. With its non-traditional and innovative aesthetics, the Nike Air Huarache was ahead of its time, but still makes an impact today.
Since its introduction, more than 20 years ago, the Nike Air Huarache aesthetics and technology is still prominent today. The design is timeless and has also become one of the most comfortable shoes Nike has made.
The Nike Air Huarache ‘Pure Platinum’ will release today on May 1, 2014 in Europe. Select Nike retailers will carry them including: Wellgosh, Size?, Triads, 43einhalb, End Clothing and select European Foot Locker stores. The retail price is £85 or €120.
