Jordan fans can see some change happening next year. As part of the 30th Anniversary celebrations, Jordan Brand has announced it will upgrade its Retro line starting from spring 2015. The 2015 “remastered” Air Jordan sneakers will be produced as close to the originals when it comes to material, details and quality. In recent years, sneakerheads have been complaining about the quality of the retro Air Jordan shoes. It’s true that the retro sneakers are not what they used to be. So, as Jordan Brand always aims to improve themselves, they listened to the fans and plan to give the consumers what they want. However, all this come with a price. The remastered Air Jordan shoes are expected to have a price increase of 10-15%.
The price increase has stirred a lot of confusion among sneakerheads. In the past, price increases have been applied without any increase in quality, so the question is if the price increase is justified now.
