Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Clay Blue” Release Date 2014
The return of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II has been welcomed back among fans and sneakerheads. In today’s sneakerworld Andre Agassi’s signature shoes have become a staple off-court. The legendary, laid back tennis player was 18 years old when he joined Nike. Designed by the infamous Tinker Hatfield, the Nike Air Tech Challenge II was first released in 1988.
The return of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Clay Blue” comes in OG form and features a synthetic white and blue leather upper, visible Air units, and an external molded heel counter. The padded collar offers more dynamic and comfort. The sneakers are finished off with touches of orange on the swoosh and inner lining and a paint spatter accent representing Andre Agassi’s trademark backhand.
The Nike Air Tech Challenge II is a great shoe and has become a lot more popular these days. A silhouette designed by Tinker Hatfield, backed by the historic sports career of Andre Agassi, make these shoes highly desirable. Add the fact that the Nike Air Yeezy 2 borrowed the outersole to its design adds up to the hype. More colorways will release this year, so stay tuned here at Alphastyles.com for any future releases.
The release date for the Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Clay Blue” is set for Saturday March 22, 2014. The retail price is $120 USD and they will be available worldwide at select Nike Sportswear retailers and online on Nike.com.
